This is show #61, Giving Thanks to the Blues.
Welcome back, my friends! I’ve got a great show for you! Since
Thanksgiving
is right around the corner it made me think about things I’m thankful
for! So this
show is simply about giving tanks for great blues music! No, there are
no songs
really about thanksgiving other than the last one by
Doug MacLeod
singing about
a Turkey Leg Woman! :-) So are you ready to give thanks to the Blues?
I hope so! Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!
Here’s giving a shout out to all the folks listening to our show by the
way of the
Kansas City Online Radio
station! I’ve joined the station and can now be heard
on Saturday’s at 3:00 pm CST.
Well, we started off show #61 with
Tommy Dardar
with Voodoo Queen.

After Tommy,
Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials
treat us to Hold That Train;

followed by
The Legendary Rhythm and Blues Revue
with Whammer Jammer;

The Jackie Payne Steve Edmonson Band,
Mean Evil Woman;

Omar Kent Dykes and Jimmie Vaughan,
Big Boss Man;

Laurie Morvan Band,
A Long Time Ago;

James Cotton, Corey Bell, Junior Wells and Bill Branch,
Hit Man;

Albert Cummings,
Blues Makes Me Feel So Good;

Albert Collins,
Brick;

Rene Trossman,
I Wonder Why;

Bob Petrocelli,
Lady With A Plan;

Albert Castiglia,
Twister;

Mitch Kashmar,
Lollipop Mama;

and
Doug MacLeod
with Turkey Leg Woman.

A special thank you always goes out to Michael Allen and the
