This is show #37, Booty Shakin Blues for the November, 2007.

Welcome back, everyone! This is Dave once again, your blues DJ, ready with another BluzNdaBlood podcast! This show is a great one! Ya know, ya can’t talk about Booty Shakin Blues without focusing on “The Baddest Little Big Band in the Land”, Mighty Lester!

I’ve been shakin my booty to their “We Are Mighty Lester” CD since its arrival in 2006, but finally have been able to see the guys perform a couple of times now. Wow Wheeee! Do they shake some tail feathers! So…. Are you ready for some Booty Shakin Blues? I hope so! Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!

We started off the podcast with Mighty Lester playing Skankin’ followed up by Messin With The Kid! Who else are we gonna hear from on this finger snapping show? Well, how about: Ana Popovic, Calendars; Cherry Lee Mewis, Where’s My Good Man; Billy Jones, My Hometown; The Blues Disciples, Leaving Trunk; Mighty Lester, Whiskeyhead Mama; Chris Duarte, My Way Down; Rene Trossman, Wasting My Time; Marc Broussard, Harry Hippie; and wrapped up by Mighty Lester with Too Hot and closing the show with Swingin’ At Lesters! What a show!

Be sure to swing by the BluzNdaBlood home page for pictures of the guys. You’ll also see some pictures and videos of the Women in Blues Festival that I’m still excited over!

Still have troubles downloading or want to send comments? I’d love to hear from you! You can e-mail me at dave@bluzndablood.com.
